Want to work here? Article by aviewaskewed, 01:21 AM 13th Mar As most of you know, I'm always looking for help around the site, either in terms of columnists, or newspeople, or both. It's our goal to give our visitors the best content possible, and I think we're doing that, but we could always use other opinions and views to keep us unique from other comics sites across the net. Since open requests haven't really worked, I thought about a few positions today that we could use some help with: Toys and memorobilia columnist/news reporter: There aren't many columns out there on the net on toys and comics memorabilia, if this is an area of expertise for you, I'd like to hear from you, and put you to work here, I'd also prefer the person who does this column do news posts as well on the subject, but it's negotiable. Indy comic newsperson: someone who is more familiar with the independent scene, I really don't know enough about it to accurately report on it, so I try not to. You will need to be able to post news fairly frequently, same rules as Stafff and I use will be required in the posting of news. Misc: anyone with ideas about columns or features we can use here that we currently aren't are encouraged to contact me and share them, nobody gets payed around here, it's a labor of love, and we want our readers to enjoy and participate in whatever success we achieve here. In all cases, I'd like anyone applying for a position to show me that they are able to write, and to be honest about any editing they may or may not need on their work (although I really don't have time to do the functions that a fast run through a spelling and grammar check program, and careful proof-reading will accomplish on anything smaller then an actual column).
